About WellCare WellCare was established in 1979 by the Medical Director, Dr George Walker as an independent health-screening clinic providing health care across England and Wales. With nearly 30 years experience it has developed a sound understanding of the requirements of good quality healthcare. WellCare's head office is in Bath, with branch clinics across the country. WellCare offers specialised clinics in General Practice for all the family. All WellCare clinics are based in either NHS GP surgeries or in private medical consulting rooms and all our patients are seen by experienced NHS clinicians. Patients have direct access to WellCare. Although not necessary, we welcome referrals from general practitioners and specialists. All patients are seen by appointment.
